Match the vacuum to your floors
List your floor surfaces, thresholds, rugs and rooms. Check the maker’s stated surface compatibility and whether the machine can cross your thresholds. If you have pets, look at brush maintenance and how easily hair can be removed.
Understand navigation and obstacles
Compare mapping, room controls, no-go areas and obstacle handling in the manufacturer’s current documentation. Small cables, toys and dark surfaces may need extra preparation; read the product’s stated limitations.
Budget for upkeep
Check the cost and availability of filters, brushes, batteries and dock consumables. Compare the size of the dust bin, cleaning needs of any mop system and space required for a dock.
Before you buy

- Review app permissions and whether key functions need an account.
- Verify current price, stock and return terms with the retailer.
